It's 5:40am on a cold March, Sunday morning. I'm freezing and I haven't slept aside from the couple of hours when I napped...when was that - oh, yesterday. Even in my restless, sleepless state, I wanted to take a moment to write a little ditty (ramble) about what Hi-Fi Scene means to me.
This club that Sophia Fallen and I own is our ultimate baby at this time, in this space and current life. I know you're thinking, "what? it's just a club, get over yourself." Well, to me, it isn't JUST a club. The vision we have for Hi-Fi Scene is to create a melting pot of genre's together into one place and hopefully bring cultures from one genre to the next together. Often time people forget that music is art and art is progressive. Slowly but surely this vision is coming to life.
I'm sure at one time or another we've all landed in a club where we were
made to feel insignificant or that we didn't belong. At Hi-Fi Scene we aim to maintain a friendly environment for club goers/patrons, without them we wouldn't have a scene at all. Respect one another and as the golden rule states, treat people the way you'd want to be treated. With everyone's help and cooperation this will be an easy task.
When it's all said and done and written, I do hope that you stop by and say hello and give us a chance to show you that it's not all the same. Signing off for now and finally getting my ass to bed -
